Our office is closing, but Dr. Frick is still a Zoom call away
After 33 years practicing in Missouri and 18 of those years in a total rehab environment, I am returning to where I lived in the 1980’s, Arizona. The onset of Lyme 2 years ago caused me to start looking closer at what I need to do to help me be healthy. While I love what I have created, it is time to do a bit less of it and in a different manner. The clinic has been on the market for some time and unfortunately no veterinarian has come forward to purchase and continue this legacy. My resolution is to liquidate and close the doors here in Eureka, and open a virtual free-lance style practice in Cave Creek, AZ. The final day will be near the end of June.
It has been a pleasure caring for every animal and you have become like family. My team is phenomenal, each with their own forte’ that added to our uniqueness. I would be less without their skill and support all these years. As you know, there is no other facility that provides all that we offer in the St. Louis area. I have researched from several angles, doctors that are trained in the aspects of rehab and chiropractic and have put together a list that I hope will enable you to find a spot that fits for you and your fur baby.
On the nutrition part of my practice there is no one available locally. But I will be able to continue to provide virtual appointments!
I have been doing telemedicine (or telehealth) for 10 years already and am getting trained in another system that will allow me to expand and offer you other options. Many of you already have recheck appointments. For those, I will be getting a new groove set up and you will be able to send cheek swabs, fur, and updates to me with communication in emails, phone calls, videos, Skype, Zoom, etc. So, it is not a total good-bye forever. We can still work together to expand the life force and health of your animals.
Thank you for many wonderful years and all the memories I treasure and am taking with me.
Watch for my biography coming this fall, Conversations with Animals.

I have greatly enjoyed my time at Pet Rehab & Pain Clinic. It has been such an honor and privilege to meet so many of the wonderful clients and their beloved pets! I am saddened at the thought of not seeing all of those lovely faces. I will still be in the area providing care. I will be at Back On Track Veterinary Hospital & Rehabilitation Center in O’Fallon, MO. I am currently there Friday’s and one Saturday a month, with opportunity to increase hours/days. I am still looking to add additional clinics where I can provide chiropractic care in other areas. I can be reached via: email email@example.com, call/text 636-465-9560, Facebook @sunnyrockchiro (https://www.facebook.com/sunnyrockchiro/), also on instagram @sunnyrockchiro. I hope to continue seeing you and providing your pet with chiropractic care in the future.
It has been a privilege to work and learn alongside Dr Frick and the Pet Rehab & Pain Clinic Team these past 6+ years Tiny and I have enjoyed meeting the many clients and their “Fur” family members. Watching and being a part of the steady progress of so many pet buddies has been incredibly gratifying work. I hope that many of our paths will cross again in the future!

As the end of the road is coming here at the clinic, there are many other adventures ahead for all of us. It has been an honor to work with all of you and be a part of Pet Rehab and Pain Clinic under Dr. Ava Frick. She is an amazing woman that truly has a passion for what she does. I have been blessed to get to know so many of you and your families, and I thank you for sharing your fur babies with me. My next adventure has blessed me to be able to continue sharing my love for animals as well as people. I will continue to do therapies, exercises, and food consultation for the animals, as well as many other options for people. Both located at Red Oak Ridge Holistic Health & More in Union, MO. I would love to be able to stay connected and keep growing the relationship that we have made already. As always, I will continue to grow and love what I do, and I hope to keep making memories with all of you.
Lots of positive energy sent your way as we make this transition as smooth as possible .

Not knowing what to say is the hardest part of writing this letter. I was considering not even writing it at all but I felt I owe it to all of you. I haven’t been with Pet Rehab & Pain Clinic for very long but long enough to get to know several of you and your pets on a first name basis. Yes, I’m the one that answers the phone back in the office most the time. Making appointments, relaying messages, filling orders and trying to help the best way that I can. I rarely go in the room with you when you visit but I do know who you are and how much you love your pets. I also know that we improve the lives of your furry ones so I look forward to seeing you walk through the door. I know how much you love your pets or you wouldn’t be here. We have shared memories together from just general follow up appointments to helping you figure out how we are going to get your baby better. And a sympathy letter to you after we find out that your baby has passed and crossed the rainbow bridge. It makes me proud that you trusted us and shared them with us and let us be part of their lives. You all will be truly missed and you never know, you may just see me again at a different location.
